I was raised on my parents' homestead in Colorado, driving tractors and riding horses, eventually becoming a horse and mule trainer. This helped me learn the value of a good hand-made saddle that fits both horse, or mule, and rider. I also learned to braid rawhide tack.
Ten years ago, I began to make custom saddles. The saddles are built on a wood tree covered with rawhide. The trees have a proper rock on the bars to fit the horses back. The seat and stirrups that swing forward are made for the comfort of the rider.
Saddles are then finished to the customers design specifications.
